The recently announced manifesto by the BN-led government provides guarantee for Malaysia’s future. It is a pledge by the government to provide a more effective public delivery. Rest assured, this is a government committed to their well-being and bringing a bright future for the country. The government will keep its words as the people are the priority.
The rakyat should realize that the government since the era of Tunku Abdul Rahman al-Haj has never neglected the people’s welfare and strived tirelessly to bring socio-economic development to the country, albeit with limited resources during those days. Let’s see what BN has promised. In its manifesto, BN touched on every state. It has given its word that each state, depending on its socio-economic condition, will be developed to benefit the people to enable them to enjoy a better standard of living. Take for example Sabah and Sarawak where the government will implement the pan-Borneo highway project to address the problems of land transport in East Malaysia, the implementation of the East Coast Rail project in Pahang, Terengganu and Kelantan, and the creation of employment for the young people, especially graduates to enable them to sustain their livelihoods.
Having mentioned the above, the younger generation in particular should show their appreciation for what the government has through history done for the betterment of the country. They must trust the government. After all, BN encompasses an alliance of all races to ensure national unity and prosperity. It is unthinkable that BN will deviate from its principles as it has always been attentive to the people’s needs.
An advice for voters. Think positive. Do not be easily swayed by criticisms from the opposition whose objective is to cause disunity by stealing away support from BN/government.
